Operating Principle
Control of the paper tail is maintained by the Coandă effect produced when compressed air flows through a series of nozzles (the phenomenon in which high-speed airflow along a solid surface adheres to the surface when passing around a corner).
The FM-Rope-less tail threading system enables safe and reliable conveyance of the paper tail inside the machine to the outlet end of the dryer section. Air ejected from the threading pipe separates the paper tail from the surface of the dryer cylinder and blows it onto the dryer fabric. Through the combined effect of the dryer fabric, web stabilizer and vacuum roll, the paper tail is affixed to the dryer fabric and transported to the end of the dryer section. This system features easy and straightforward threading as well as convenient maintenance, and achieves an extremely high threading speed. Suitable for rapid threading on high-speed paper machines, it constitutes a feasible and effective technical solution for high-speed paper machines to improve production efficiency, avoid threading breaks, and cut threading time and operating costs.
